2015 Polymer Clay Challenge Week 12

This weeks tinkering involved coloring a stamped image on raw clay with chalk pastels and Pearl Ex powders.  I found one of my favorite fairy stamps from years ago. I wish I could remember who the stamp was designed by, but it was in a unmounted grab bag from many many years ago. I haven't used pastels on anything to this extent. It's kinda scrappy looking- I need to perfect the craftsmanship of the shapes and finishing. However, this was fun.

     Happy Weekend!

Polymer Clay Challenge week 10 and 11

Long story short- my laptop bit the big one. I was NOT and I mean absolutely NOT going to attempt to post from my Kindle or phone. Nope. I sorta loathe typing anything of any length on a touchscreen. So... now that I am back up with a working laptop... YAY!!!  AND.... I now have a fully charged camera, now that I found my battery charger. SCORE!!!

My pieces for last week and this week are double duty. The faux turquoise is for the Pavelka Project for the month of March. The beehives are for a busy bee themed swap over on my favorite art charm swap group.

So there is week 10 and 11 in a nutshell.
Happy weekend!!!

Week 9 PCChallenge

I actually got this weeks challenge done a bit early. I got my monthly tutorial from Kater's Acres and had to make her...  So... Here she is... Her name is Junie and she's a tree frog.
That's a butterfly on her nose and a daisy accenting her femininity.  She was fun to make. I want to make some more of different colors.

     The sun is shining!!!
